What began as a seasonal snack created to raise funds for the Sharing Place, one of Hoss’s favorite nonprofit organizations, turned into an irresistible treat that people just couldn’t wait an entire year to have. Everyone wanted to know where they could buy the Crunch. Friends and family continued to encourage Hoss to take the next step and open a family owned business with his wife to sell the Crunch year round. The first two flavors created were Spicy Hot Chocolate and Peanut Butter Crunch. Now there are six flavors to enjoy, with more to come...

We feel we have a responsibility to give back to the community, which is why we have partnered with local non-profits to donate a portion of our proceeds through direct giving, in-kind donations, product donations, volunteering, etc.

Why Uncle Hoss’s Crunch? John's lifelong nickname has been Hoss, mostly based on the fact that he was the size of Hoss Cartwright from “Bonanza” when he was 12 years old, but also because of his last name (pronounced hoss-connect).
